ANS Performance Ritual: Advanced Nutraceutical Sciences Fully Dosed Preworkout!

ans ritual

Every once in a while we are caught a bit off guard when it comes to new supplements. Its just hard to figure out which products are worthy of being researched & written about & which ones are just the same formulas in a different wrapper. Well today we are pleased to have the honor of introducing a new preworkout by ANS called Ritual!

Now it’s pretty easy to see right off the first view of the label that this one is going to be different; Why? Because the dosages on Ritual are hayooj! I don’t know about everyone else out there but I like to know what I’m taking & when possible to take them in the recommended amounts. The problem which arises is that very few ‘designer’ products contain both the desired ingredients & the correct dosages. While to buy each & every ingredient in bulk may be cost effective it is certainly not convenient not to mention it tastes like ass. Now if there is another product out there that is even half as complete as Ritual then please bring it to our attention….we’d wait while you google around but trust us there isn’t one.

Now as a self-diagnosed stimulant junkie I have experimented with pretty much every stimulant & nootropic available to me. Now as of late my favorite has been Dendrobium, and in close second Higenamine or Norcoclaurine HCL (Norcoline). So boy was I surprised when I learned that they are both included in Ritual. ANS doesn’t stop there either along with Hordenine which is another product I have experimented with to make other stimulants/nootropics more effective.

ANS Performance Ritual Ingredients

Beta Alanine 3.2g- Beta-Alanine is the building block of carnosine, a molecule that helps to buffer acid in muscles and increases physical performance.[1]

AgmaPure Agmatine Sulfate 1g- metabolite of L-Arginine which appears to be a novel neurotransmitter. As well as circulatory health promoting and provides pumps/vascularity.[2]

Xanthuarine (Quercetin) 200mg- heavily researched neuroactive bioflavonoid, with some of the same abilities as Caffeine but less potent.[3]

Citrulline 3g- L-Citrulline is one of the three amino acids in the Urea cycle alongside L-Arginine and L-Ornithine; it turns into L-Arginine after absorption and being sent to the kidneys, so it is actually a better method of getting supplemental L-Arginine into the blood rather than L-Arginine itself [4]

Creapure 3g- Purified Creatine Monohydrate the most common form of Creatine. Replenishes ATP; Improves Skeletal Muscle Glycogen Uptake, Improves Recovery. [5]

Betaine 2.5g- byproduct of Sugar Beets, Betaine has recently been found to increase performance, endurance, muscular fatigue, anabolic signaling & oxidation of lipids. So basically it has been found to help you lift more & burn more fat! [6][7]

DN1000 Dendrobium- Concentrated alkaloids (dendroxine) are thought to cause an upsurge in epinephrine, norepinephrine & dopamine. Full Dendrobium Write up

N-Acetyl-Tyrosine- can be converted by neurons in the brain into the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine (noradrenaline), hormones which are depleted by stress, excessive work and certain drugs.[8]

Caffeine- Caffeine is a compound that is seen as ‘anti-sleep’, by mimicking and blocking a molecule that induces sleepiness known as adenosine. Also a potent stimulant and fat burner; these effects, alongside some others, fade with time.[9]

Higenamine- possesses  benefits to muscular output by increasing acetylcholine release from motor neurons. [10]  Read Our Write Up on Higenamine Here!

Phenylethylamine (PEA) is a monoamine alkaloid that can improved mood, mental acuity, energy and focus. Although relatively short-lived, when combined with and MAO inhibitor, the effects can be prolonged.

Hordenine- has been found to have noadrenaline reuptake reduction properties [11] Exhibits MAOB inhibitor properties-increases potency of all ingredients. [12]

Astragin- If all of those ingredients weren’t enough. ANS has provided a patent pending extract from Astragalus Membranaceus. AstraGin increases the absorption of amino acids, glucose, and vitamins through the regulation and paralleled alteration on both the protein and mRNA expression levels of the Na+/glucose cotransporter 1 (SGLT1) gene.[13]

So to say that I’m impressed is an under-statement. What I am is extremely disappointed, I feel this way because somehow when at the Arnold Sports Festival this weekend we missed the ANS booth which is simply a tragedy. But as they say good things come to those who wait, & wait we shall for our opportunity to get our hands on this puppy!

All in all if I could buy stock in ANS Performance I would because I know a winner when I see one! And in an industry full of half-truths & deception it is refreshing to see an up and comer doing things right!
